In their own words
What people said afterwards
I realized that a lot of my problems I thought I had weren’t that big of a deal. I’m now capable of handling anything that comes my way without any worry.
When I started I was really depressed and down. I finished with a better feeling. Today I feel really positive about dealing with life in a happier and more successful way.
Who we are
A nonprofit, here so nobody has to face a hard time alone
FriendlyCounseling is a nonprofit service of Valley Life Improvement Center, a 501(c)(3) organization in Granada Hills, California (Non-Profit Registration Number: 35-2464171). Our mission is to help people improve emotional well-being, communication skills and personal resilience.
We do it three ways: free sessions and free messages with volunteer counselors, free educational material anyone can use, and referral to a professional counselor for people who want to keep going. Our volunteer counselors are in training and are supervised. This is not medical or emergency care.
